Empty your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all money, credit cards and cheques at home. Take only the money you expect to use on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might have a success after a drunken evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute roll at a hot craps game. Keep that account considering that it is as brief as it gets if you always consume alcohol and gamble. The two just don’t mix.
Keeping your money at home might be a little drastic, but defensive actions for excessive actions is essential. If you wager to profit, then don’t drink and play.
